A pediatric urologist is someone who specializes in the treatment of children and young adults who have problems involving the kidney, bladder, urethra, and reproductive organs (ovaries, uterus, vagina, testicles, and penis). Unlike adults, children are still growing and it's important that they are seen by someone with extensive knowledge and training in children's care.
The Pediatric Urology Clinic recognizes the special needs of young patients and their families. We understand the sensitive nature of these conditions and treatments, so it is our goal to provide a comfortable environment for both you and your child. We also collaborate with obstetricians to provide diagnoses and care plans for genitourinary issues of the fetus.
We are trained to treat children and young adults with conditions such as :
- Hydronephrosis
- Urethral valves
- Kidney and ureteric stones
